Why APG Connect Exists
Hi, I'm Terry Zheng. I never set out to build another software platform — another course, another CRM, or another community app. What I really wanted was much simpler: to build the business I wished had existed when I started.
It all began with education.
Before I became an entrepreneur, I was a high school teacher. Teaching taught me one lesson that has stayed with me ever since: education changes lives. But knowledge alone isn't enough. People don't need more information — they need the confidence to take action, the right support, and a system that helps them implement what they learn. That belief has shaped everything I've built since.
Real estate taught me a different lesson.
When I entered real estate, I discovered how rewarding — and exhausting — a transactional business could be. Every sale required starting again. Every month began at zero. No matter how successful I became, the business was still largely dependent on my own time and energy. I began asking myself a simple question: could a business continue growing, even when I wasn't working?
That question led me into digital marketing, automation, online education and business systems. What began as a search for financial freedom gradually became something much bigger.
Every opportunity expanded my vision.
As I kept learning, I invested heavily in coaching, marketing, technology, automation and online business. During that journey I discovered eStage. At first I simply saw it as a powerful platform to build my own hub. Later, I realised it could become the foundation for something far greater — not just for my own business, but for entire industries. Instead of helping one entrepreneur at a time, what if we could help entire communities grow together? That single idea completely changed my direction.
Then I realised the real problem.
Entrepreneurs rarely fail because they lack passion — most already work incredibly hard. The real problem is that everything is disconnected. Learning sits in one place. Technology sits somewhere else. Communities are isolated. Opportunities come and go. Great coaches struggle to reach the right people. Community builders struggle to find the right experts. Business owners are forced to connect everything themselves. Everyone is busy. Very few people are truly connected.
That was the breakthrough. The world didn't need another tool. It needed a better operating system.
That's why APG Connect was created.
APG Connect is not simply a website. It is not another software platform. It is not another coaching business. Because I believe the greatest businesses are never built alone. They're built through collaboration.
